Fishing with Flyers Legend Bernie Parent

I recently received an invitation to spend a day of Fishing and Photography with Flyers legendary goalie Bernie Parent on his boat, the French Connection. Bernie anchored two Stanley Cup winning Philadelphia Flyers teams in the 70's, and was later inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Now, an avid fisherman, I was lucky to get to know Bernie on our outing and can say he is a wonderful man who I hope to get to spend time with in the future. As Bernie likes to say, "It's a beautiful thing!"
