The Picture of the Week, August 1, 2010
This picture from the set, Rush Hour, New York City, was taken towards the end of my walk as almost an afterthought. As things often do, this has become one of the most favorite pictures that I have taken. Click here if you want so more information on this shoot.
Two New Galleries: Rush Hour, New York City and ShadowNLight
This week we uploaded two new galleries, Rush Hour, New York City and ShadowNLight.
Rush Hour, NYC was taken on a an afternoon walk through Mid-Town Manhattan on a cold, overcast day. The weather and the clouds made the decision to shoot black and white easy.
ShadowNLight is a series taken of my cat, Shadow. The late day sun had formed a perfect ray of light into my living room, but as the day went and the light moved, Shadow refused to do so, she was just too comfortable. One of the pictures from this series was selected picture of the week for July 19th.
New Orleans: Waterfront Views

Another gallery from our Mentor Series trip to New Orleans. The shots were taken of the New Orleans waterfront from the deck of the Steamboat Natchez Riverboat.
More from New Orleans: The Garden District

Pictures from our extensive shoots in and around New Orleans last February as part of the Mentor Series trip sponsored by Popular Photography magazine. I highly recommend all photographers take a Mentor Series trip if they really want to learn more about our craft. You can read all about the Mentor Series at www.mentorseries.com.
